My God, Its Full of Stars

The title is taken from one of the best novels of all time, 2001 A Space Odyssey and reflects my continued amazement at all of the biology and science that surrounds us.  The quote in the novel is from the moment that Mission Control is listening to David Bowman as he investigates The Monolith and says “The thing’s hollow—it goes on forever—and—oh my God—it’s full of stars!”.  I have those moments from time to time looking through the microscope.

These two images are from a side experiment we are doing which is all I’ll say about it for now…
