I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the morning that I was flying out of D.C. with my friend Eileen for coffee. Eileen is a Lt. Col. in the USMC, and was in town for work making this happy opportunity possible. It is always so good to meet up, and I miss the opportunities we had in Chicago to catch up in person every freezing January. I don’t know if meetings in Chicago will ever come back, but until then, we’ll try and meet up perhaps here on the East Coast and talk life, the universe, cars, airplanes and helicopters, and US policy in a variety of areas amongst many other topics.
