My friend Kristen Nwanyanwu @DrKNwan and I got to sit down and visit during ARVO 2023 in New Orleans after she gave an interview. Kristen is a vitreoretinal surgeon, scientist, and entrepreneur, and it was very much my delight to hear about her journey, her mentorship for trainees, and learn about her science and medical practice at a break point in our meetings.
