Brittany Carr @dr_bjcarr and I had the chance to sit down over a friend chicken lunch at ARVO 2023 at Gus’s Fried Chicken and catch up. Brittany and I go back a long time to when she was a graduate student with Bill Stell. She did a postdoc with Orson Moritz at UBC, and is now a new faculty member at the University of Alberta studying inherited retinal degenerations. Brittany has always done the most beautiful histology that I have always admired, and I cannot wait to see where she takes her lab.
