As part of my visit to the Flaum Eye Institute, Center for Visual Sciences @CvsUor, University of Rochester as part of my invited talk to give a Boynton Lecture, I had a chance to sit down with Jesse Schallek @schalleklab to hear about his lab’s work with monitoring retinal blood flow using a home town strength of Rochester’s, adaptive optics.  It really was an exciting discussion and I had many questions about modeling and vascular vs. avascular retinas that came out of that.  Thanks Jesse! I’ll look forward to the next opportunity to  talk.
