We’ve been to Allen Park before, but this time we decided to visit in winter, and see what the place looks like after the city has decided to step in and preserve the space for future use. Winter gives places a completely different feel and ambiance, and this visit did not disappoint.
For years, you’d hear the peacocks and turkeys that lived in this enclave, but did not often see them. Today, they paraded for us, along with deer that are reclaiming this place as their own.
