I got a chance to meet up with Danny Saban (@SabanLab) at this year’s Ryan Initiative for Macular Research meeting at the Beckman Center. Danny and I worked in the same study group on inner retina for this meeting, that went astoundingly well. The AMD field has for too long has focused exclusively on the impact of the disease on outer retina, when the inner retina is of fundamental importance. I look forward to more conversations about this with Danny and other.
