My friend, colleague, fellow gearhead, and new collaborator Pete Williams (@pete_the_teapot) at the Optic Nerve Meeting in Obergurgl, Austria a couple of weeks ago. Pete is a scientist at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden and is exploring neural degeneration with the eye as a model. Needless to say, our research interests overlap, and as such we have just arranged a collaboration that I very much am looking forward to.
