I took a photo tofhis floor mosaic on a visit to Delos decades ago, as our Mykonian family is one of a few to maintain a home there. I have not found an explanation, specifically, of this mosaic. Which temple it was in, nor it’s meaning. As it preceeds the Whirling Dervishes by 700 years…that is not the correct interpretation. Have you ever found one? I’d like to be accurate in my historical reference. Thanks in advance.
