A common kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) seen by the Malaga airport in Southern Spain.
This is the first common kingfisher I’ve ever seen with my own eyes. I’ve seen belted kingfishers in Florida, and sacred kingfishers in Australia, but never a common kingfisher, and now I am delighted.
