Steve Massey and I had the chance to sit down at the 2023 European Retina Meeting, catch up, talk science and connectomics, Aii amacrine cells and gap junctions, and share a meal.
A conversation with Steve and Jamie at ARVO one year was the inspiration to chase the Aii amacrine cell in our first retinal connectome a few years ago, and that has served as a remarkable inspiration for further work over the years. I will always be grateful to him for that.
