At the 2023 European Retina Meeting in Tübingen, Germany a couple of weeks ago, I got to sit down with Maarten Kamermans, catch up and visit for a bit after one of the poster sessions. My entire career, I’ve read his work, and seen him at meetings, but never really sat down to talk one on one before, so this was a treat.
