I had the distinct pleasure of getting to visit with Kedar Narayan in Ventura, California at the inaugural Volume EM Gordon Conference. Kedar is a Senior Scientist and Group Leader at the National Cancer Institute, Center for Caner Research, and is doing some very exciting work in applying new technologies to explore the smallest details in the biology of cancer. We’ve had a long interest in some fundamental biology of cancer with respect to spatial metabolomics, and it would be a riot of fun to hybridize those approaches with newer volume EM methodologies.
