I had a wonderful visit at the National Eye Institute last week with Mones Abu-Asab, the unit chief for the Transmission Electron Microscopy Unit there. We had the chance to talk about global issues, and cuisine right along with sampling some amaaaazing baklava from Syria that Mones contributed to the conversation.
