I took the Cayman down to the Porsche dealer for some service yesterday and was chatting with the service manager about “that gorgeous ’49 Mercury out front… Was that a customers?” He replied: “No! That’s mine…”. Of course this resulted in the two of us gear heads talking about cars for the next half hour. I miss car culture.
