During my visit to the Kellogg Eye Center, at the University of Michigan a couple of weeks ago, Peter Hitchcock and I got to visit and talk about his work in vision science. Peter is one of the legends in the zebrafish community that I first got to meet many years ago when I did some work with Pamela Raymond. His work in Müller glia is exciting and points the way to understanding how vertebrates regenerate retinal tissues.
