On an evening walk, I could not help but think of the Talking Heads “Road to Nowhere”… as a “resigned, even joyful look at doom” per David Byrne. I would like to be optimistic about the future of our country, but the trend line over the past few years has been troubling. My hopes are that this November’s elections 84 days away now, will start to heal a grossly divided nation, and we will get back on the path of unity, healing, and optimism.
