I had the distinct pleasure of hosting my friend and colleague, Wai T. Wong @WaiTWong1 at the Moran Eye Center where he delivered two talks to our faculty on his work with microglia in the retina.  Wait was one of the early proponents of exploring microglial interactions in the retina as it relates to fundamental mechanisms in healthy retina, but also how microglia play a role in retinal disease.

Thanks Wai.  Looking forward to our next visit and seeing where this research collaboration will go.
