My friend and colleague Prachee Avasthi (@PracheeAC) was in town to give a couple of talks at the University of Utah, one of the biology of cilium, and one on careers to students.  Prachee is a Moran Eye Center alum, having earned her PhD in Wolfgang Baehr’s lab upstairs from me. I gotta say, her career has been a riot to watch and I’ve marveled at the work she has done on social media to help organize forums for early career faculty through NewPI Slack, and her advocacy for science and training on Twitter.

Prachee, it was an absolute pleasure to visit again.  After SciFoo, this is like the 2nd time in a few months that we’ve crossed paths, and I look forward to continued interactions and where you take your science.
