James Hurley came by the Moran Eye Center to deliver a seminar and have a discussion about his work exploring the metabolism of photoreceptors and the enzymes mediating the cascade of chemical reactions that help retinas adapt from low light to bright light conditions. Jim knows more about metabolism and metabolic pathways than most people on planet Earth, and it was a riot of a good time visiting with him, and asking questions.
