My colleague Michael Elliott is from the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Oklahoma, and was a fellow attendee at the the RD 2018 meeting in Killarney, Ireland. Michael is interested in the blood retinal barrier and inflammatory responses in retina as they relate to blindness. He is also keenly interested in some ultrastructural features we have been seeing in our retinal connectomes, and I look forward to continuing the conversation with him.
