This image and the images below are a bit of an experiment for me with the Fuji X-T1 and the Zeiss Touit 50mm macro lens that arrived today. The day was spent making figures for manuscripts, so I did not get a chance to play with the lens and figured I’d use the walk home this evening to look at the quality of bokeh produced by this lens when severely defocused. The results are fun and abstract.
As to the lens, in addition to having a nice bokeh, if a little busy, the lens feels good on the Fuji X-T1. I’ve got some interesting experiments planned with this macro lens that I cannot wait to show off. But the macro lens I am really waiting for is the 120mm Fuji macro lens that is supposed to be released next year.
