My colleague Christian Puller @ChristianPuller @christianpuller.bsky.social and I got to sit down for a few minutes together at the HHMI Connectomics Conference in Berlin a couple of weeks ago to visit, talk about science, family and life. It’s been fun watching Christian’s career as he’s moved through retinal science, now a senior research scientist at Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior. His work is some of the cleanest and most beautiful in the community, and is a fellow appreciator of gap junctions in retina.

  1. Dear Bryan,

My name is Elaheh, and I am a former colleague of Christian from the University of Oldenburg. I am currently preparing my disputation presentation and would like to include a picture collection of all those who contributed to my PhD.
I came across this photo on your website that you captured, and I would like to include it in my thank you slide. May I have your permission to use this photo for my presentation? Thank you.
