During my visit with to Florida State last month, I had a wonderful time visiting with Roberto Vincis, hearing about his work in understanding how neural systems encode sensory information from taste paradigms, and how to encode food related behaviors. The fun thing about visiting a basic science department, indeed the fun thing about being in a basic science department is the diversity of biology that you get exposed to. My work is with the visual system, but my mind is always left spinning about possibilities when exploring other sensory neuroscience systems.

Thank you Roberto!
