My friend and colleague Melanie Samuel @SynapsesInSight had a chance to meet up right before the last FASEB Retina Meeting got started. Melanie is doing some of the coolest work in determining retinal neuronal partnerships out there. Watching her career arc has been tremendously fun, and I cannot wait to see where her work goes in the future.
