One of the things that I love about giving talks at other institutions is getting to meet the new talent in the field and getting some insight into how they are tackling some of the hardest problems in vision science. I had the distinct pleasure of visiting with Juliette McGregor and talking science and scientific/academic culture during my visit at the Flaum Eye Institute, Center for Visual Sciences @CvsUor, University of Rochester.
