I had a delightful visit with Bill Merigan (Happy Birthday Bill!) as part of my visit to the Flaum Eye Institute, Center for Visual Sciences @CvsUor, University of Rochester as part of my invited talk to give a Boynton Lecture. Bill has been a legend in retinal research from the early days at ARVO, then splitting off to VSS. I’ve also seen him at FASEB Retina over the years, so I was delighted to be able to sit down and share a meal with him this visit.
