I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with my friend and colleague, Olaf Strauss while I was in Berlin, for a tour of some of the lakes around Berlin, the rowing club where he is a member, and a delightful lunch of sausage and a Radler beer.  We got to talk about history, science, handling the future of ISER now that he is the new President, and automobiles.  Looking forward to visiting again in the not too distant future, if not in Berlin again, then in Australia for the next ISER meeting.

This park around the castle of Glienicke demonstrates the art of Peter Josef Lenne who planned and created the park around scenes that frame the view axis.
