I completely forgot, when shooting the image yesterday for Frans Vinberg that I also had to shoot a portrait of me for our Research to Prevent Blindness (RPB) (@RPB_org) grant. RPB has very specific requirements on portraits… scientists have to be in lab coats, doing something related to their science, and not looking into the camera. On top of this, in this case, I had to shoot a self portrait which complicated things. Thankfully, modern cameras have phone apps that one can use to shoot while not being behind the camera…
