Portrait: Eileen Hwang (In My Office)

Exposure: 1/90
Aperture: f/2
Focal Length: 50mm
ISO: 800

My colleague Eileen Hwang @DrEileenHwang came by my office the other day to return a microscope objective and have a talk about resources.  I was pleased as could be when Eileen agreed to become faculty here at the Moran Eye Center.  We had worked together when she did her ophthalmology residency here at the Moran and served on the committee for MoranCORE, an ophthalmology education resource that was initially modeled after Webvision.

Eileen is now collecting data for work in her own laboratory, and I cannot wait to see what happens there.

This is also the first In My Office portrait made since the COVID-19 pandemic, so I’m pleased to be back in the informal portrait business of sorts… even if it involves protective masks.
