My friend, USMC Maj. Eileen Donovan @ECDonovan01 and I finally got to sit down at ORDCamp to catch up, and get a portrait made.  Eileen is one of the phenomenal people I was privileged to meet in Chicago a couple of years ago at my first ORDCamp.  It’s funny how there are some people that you just immediately click with.  Eileen is one of those people for me, and it’s always fun to visit and geek out about the things in our world, large and small.

Cool fact: Eileen piloted this very helicopter airframe that now resides in the Smithsonian. Her father, Joseph P. Donovan flew the very same airframe in Vietnam.  She now flies the MV-22 Osprey for the Marine Corps, and is studying for a graduate degree.  I can’t wait to see what is next for her.

P.S….
