My friend Anna Galland @annagalland and I had a quick moment to sit down in-between sessions at ORDCamp to grab a portrait and catch up. Anna is one of those rare people who is able to navigate difficult political issues and help organize people around a united front. Anna served as the executive director for MoveOn.org, helping to expand their reach and budget which assists grassroots-led campaigns. At a time when it is easy to feel disenfranchised and angry at the path our own government has taken, people like Anna provide hope and a direction forward. And for Anna and all those work endeavor to fight injustice, I am grateful.
