Troubleshooting Transmission Electron Microscopes

There are soooo many variables when something starts to go wrong with electron microscopes. This is a slight sample movement problem, that thanks to an amazing team in the lab, looks like we might have a fix for.

The animated gif above is cycling between a capture where there is a subtle amount of movement in the sample, vs. one where there is no movement and the image is sharp.  The effect is subtle, but important… and we are kinda sticklers for good quality imagery as that is what all our conclusions on neural circuitry are based upon.

Thank you everyone.
