Autumn will be starting to turn the leaves on the trees at 7,000 feet soon. The wavelength of light is getting longer and the air is cooling just a bit which makes hiking in the early morning mountains a debate of whether or not you should bring a jacket. I cherish the change in seasons and look forward to autumn hikes, but am hanging on to the comfort of air warm enough for shorts for just a bit longer.
