My friend and colleague Pete Williams (@pete_the_teapot) invited me to visit him in Stockholm to talk science, craft a collaboration, and give a talk at The Karolinska Institutet, and I eagerly said yes. Pete is chasing an understanding of and therapies for glaucoma, one of the leading causes of blindness, and I find his approach to be one that makes a profound amount of sense given what we know about how retinas are altered in disease.
