I had a chance to meet up with my friend Lauren Ayton Slater (@DrLaurenAyton) at ARVO 2019 to catch up and chat about family and the next steps in vision rescue strategies. Lauren is a vision scientist who is working at the frontiers of bionic implants and retinal vision rescue at Bionic Eye Technologies, as Director of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, and is also a co-host of 3RRR radio’s Einstein A Go Go.
