Jacob Schulze was in the lab installing a OneView camera from Gatan (@GatanMicroscopy) on our new JEOL (@JEOLUSA) electron microscope this week.  We got to talking about a tattoo of a 45 rpm adapter on his forearm which led to an amazing conversation about music from soul and R&B to punk, cowpunk, bluegrass, rock and roll and rap music. Jacob has a long history in the music industry and plays guitar for Moonlight Towers, as well as manages the big stages at SXSW, so it was a fun conversation to back up the ultrastructural science work we are doing…
