I miss having time to put my feet up and read. I put my feet up the other morning to sit back and review a manuscript, and thought: “I have not just read into a new area of science out of curiosity in a while…”.
The reading I have been doing has been limited to trying to keep up with the literature in the face of management and administration duties, on top of dealing with things like server failures, saps all the time I’ve had in the past to just… read. And think.
