I had the good fortune to visit with my friend and colleague Valeria Canto-Soler at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus (@CUAnshutz) a few days ago. I’ve enjoyed watching Valeria’s career take off to where it is now with her leading a multi-million dollar retinal organoid effort in the Department of Ophthalmology. It was also fun catching up and finding that we have some mutual interests that got us to where we are.
