Magnus Lindström is the man at the Tvärminne Zoological Research Station in Hanko, Finland. He was an amazing host for our visit there and was kind enough to indulge me for a portrait while he was showing off his scientific apparatus for exploring the visual function and spectral sensitivity of crustaceans, specifically the decapod Mysis relicta.

By the way, M. relicta is not an isopod but a decapod belonging to Mysida. It could be named just “opossum shrimp”
