Mirror lens in use?
Not however an Australian Magpie (Gymnorhina Tibicen) which more closely resembles crows and ravens. Pied is often used to describe black & white species

Yes, the lens is an old Canon 500mm f/8 FD mirror lens. Works great, though is a little tricky to use.
