Big Sunspots, Right Now

There are some crazy big sunspots front and center on the sun right now.  If you’ve still got your solar viewing glasses from the eclipse, you can probably see them.

    1. Good question! I know about the umbra and the penumbra, but those white spots are called faculae. I do not know what they represent.

      I used a hydrogen line filter on a Lunt Solar Telescope.
