This shot of med students Kris Olson, John Schell and researcher Amy J. Hawkins was made on a visit to my office to talk science and possible collaboration. Being able to visualize the metabolism of cells while preserving anatomical context is one of the things we do well and its application to cancer is something I’m pretty interested in. Amy, John and Kris are pretty interested too and I hope that we can find some time to explore things down this road in the future.
