This carrion crow (Corvus corone) was made on a very rainy day in Paris, France with with Fuji’s new XF40-150mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR zoom lens. I had one of the very first of these lenses in North America and hauled it off to France with me. For birding, it does not have quite the reach of the Fuji 55-200, but in terms of performance, compares exceptionally well to the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM equivalent.
