This gorgeous Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce was seen in Berlin, Germany.  Germany is car crazy and given the performance of  their economy the last few years, Berlin has become an amazing place to see rare and unique automobiles of all kinds, from almost the entire history of the automobile.  Everything from 1950’s American cars with big fins to the latest from Bugatti.  Its all here in Berlin…

As an aside, why don’t we get cars with this kind of styling anymore?  There is no reason why automobile manufacturers could not make something as beautiful and styled as these cars for today’s market with modern running gear and safety measures.

  1. Despite living in Utah now, my heart always skips one or two beats in happiness when you post something nice about a trip to Germany. As if I can claim responsibility. When I was growing up, a close family friend had an Alfa and I always thought they were such cool cars. I even believed her when she said that she was going so fast on the freeway that there were no cars in front of her anymore because she passed everybody. That leaves quite the impression on a 7 year-old I guess.

    1. Thanks Ruben,

Looks like I’ll be getting back to Germany before too long… More science, more cameras and more cars… Germany really is a gear head Mecca of sorts.
