My colleague M.E. Hartnett asked if I could shoot a quick laboratory portrait of her laboratory the other day. I had with me the Fuji X-T1 with the Fuji 23mm f/1.4 lens on me, so we set up an impromptu shoot in the lobby of the Moran Eye Center, taking advantage of the huge Westward facing windows for one of the biggest diffused light sources you could want.
By the way, I am totally loving this camera, particularly after having picked up my Canon 1DX to prep it for another shoot this weekend. Compared with the Fuji X-T1, the Canon 1DX is absolutely monstrously large and ridiculously heavy. Its actually shocking how much bigger it is compared with the Fuji X-T1, even with its added battery grip.
Bryan, Thank you for capturing us in a formal yet approachable fashion. I really admire your work.
