One of the undergraduates in the lab, Alex Butler has been working on a research project for the last little while. A few days ago, she presented the work at the Utah Capitol to lawmakers and this summer, she will be presenting the work at a national undergraduate research conference. This is on top of her already presenting her work at international ARVO conferences in vision research both times in 2012 and 2013, I might add on a spoken platform presentation.
We are very proud of her and pleased with the success of the University of Utah’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program in providing undergraduate students for experience in research laboratories.
