Developing Zebrafish Retina

This series of images are from a developing zebrafish (Danio rerio) at 24, 48 and 72 hours (right to left) visualized with Computational Molecular Phenotyping (CMP).  There are three antibody probes in these images, taurine, L-glutamine and L-glutamate assigned to the red, green and blue color channels respectively.  You can see the brain in the middle with the developing eyes on either side as well as lots of other things if you know what you are looking for…

    1. It was not so long ago that all the zfish people were regarded with suspicion and people did not really trust what they did. The reality now is that they are absolutely a mainstay in bioscience research. Pretty cool.
