I cannot take credit for this image per se as it was crafted by one of our graduate students, James Tucker. However, I can say without telling what it is, that this little project came out of a conversation Robert and I had a couple of years ago late in the evening at ARVO. Some of the more biologically inclined may be able to guess what it is that we are looking at, but for now I will play coy and suggest that you look for more images from a variety of scientific mysteries in the near future as we expand out approaches to new systems and problems.
