My hope is that these images will serve as a visual index of birds for those who appreciate avians. This page will be a repository of images for those birds that I have been fortunate enough to have been in the right time and place to engrave their image digitally. Not all of the images are the best quality, but the plan is to replace them with better quality images as they can be captured and to continue to expand this listing with time.

This is a lousy shot, but it was a thrilling experience because of the surprise this little raptor caused when its piercing call suddenly announced its presence as it flew past too fast for me to get the camera up in time.
